The Years We Barely Made It

There were a few years when me and my husband almost lost everything. I don’t like writing that out, but it is true. Bills stacked up, the car broke down twice, and we had to ask my sister for help more than once. Somehow we kept going. Colorado is where our kids learned to ride bikes, where we had cheap birthday cakes from the grocery store, and where we argued in the kitchen and made up before bed because there was no other choice.

I placed this hex because not every family story is pretty. Some of them are just people staying together when life is heavy!!!
