I was born and raised in Southern Hancock County, OH. I am proud of being a native, as it is my home. I love that my family had been in this county for generations. From the Civil War to now. From American Revolution to now, that I have family in the US Military. Being an American means how much I love my country, including its ups and downs. You support whomever in office, no matter if you agree with that person or not. As for religious freedom, my ancestors from the Mayflower left their country for religious freedom. Being an American is who I am. No matter how many different cultures that are in me. I have ancestors who had fought on both sides of the war. Patriots and Hessians. I am learning about the Hessian side more. I am proud of my ancestry, I am proud to be an American.
