Owner's Story
My grandfather had a crab table behind his house near Annapolis, built from old boards and painted blue three different times.
Every summer the whole family ended up there with newspaper spread out, paper towels blowing away, and somebody arguing about Old Bay. He worked at a marina, fixed engines, patched boats, and came home with grease under his nails.
But at that table, he acted like we had everything.
Maryland, to me, is the sound of mallets on crab shells and my grandfather telling the same story again because nobody stopped him.
