Owner's Story
My family has owned a small farm outside Baltimore since 1907. Four generations have worked that land — corn, wheat, soybeans, depending on the decade. My son took over in 2019 when my body could not do it anymore. He is forty-two and still calls me every morning to talk about the weather. The land is harder now. The work is the same. This hex is for the farm, and for him.
